Throughout her career, Amy has developed digital strategy for top tier clients and employers including: Google, Sears Holdings Corporation, Procter & Gamble, H&R Block, Target, JCPenney & more. As a Digital Marketing Manager for Sears, I am responsible for managing numerous social media platforms to market in-store, B2C and e-commerce for Sears PartsDirect retail business as well as generate awareness and leads for Sears Home Improvement. In the Spring of 2016, Amy joined Roosevelt University’s Adjunct Faculty teaching Principles of Internet Marketing at the graduate level.
As a former Program Manager for Google, I specialized in growing communities, social media management, and curating global marketing campaigns for Local Guides, a user generated content component of Google Maps. While at Google, I supported the launch of Local Guides, City Experts, Google+ Local, Google Places and Zagat.
Amy is very in tune with local business owners, entrepreneurs, and events – representing over 300 local businesses per campaign while selling Yellow Pages advertising and online search for R.H. Donnelley. While at Google, I partnered with dozens of festivals and events, including: Great American Beer Fest, Cubs Convention, National Restaurant Association show, lots of Chicago street fairs (Taste of Randolph, BaconFest, Chipotle Festival) and too many to mention! Experiences managing and training Brand Ambassadors, on-site brand activations, generating leads and opt-ins and having fun while staying true to the brand.
Amy earned her MBA from Loyola University’s Graduate School of Business with a concentration in Marketing and Human Resources and studied Communications at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Amy previously served on the Board of the Chicago Social Media Club and Co-Chaired the Steppenwolf Auxiliary Council’s Membership and Marketing Committee.
Amy lives and breathes social media personally and professionally. Amy is even an online dating success story – reconnecting with the first boy she ever kissed and marrying him in 2008! For fun, I manage the instagram account for my Goldendoodle, Herbie!
